    Hi Tony,

My name is Payam Rajabi, I’m 19 and live in Toronto, Canada. I’m writing this email to you because for the last few weeks, your sets such as “Strings of Strife,” “Sunday Snooze” and “Laidback Niceness” have been the soundtrack to my life. There was a long prior, prior to finding your music, where I had been listening to the same music over and over; I simply didn’t know where to find new music that could inspire. Since discovering your work I’ve been listening to it non-stop, and it’s true what that quote on your site says, music can relieve almost any feeling or emotion.

I’m studying graphic design at York University, and my passion is photography. Your music has been part of the fuel that inspires me to do what I do. If there is ever anything you need in regards to photography or graphic design, please do not hesitate to let me know. I would be happy to do it for you, I feel that’s the only way I can give back!

By the way, I should mention that the person who introduced me to your music was my friend Anas Attia (http://anasattia.com), he is a house DJ based in Toronto and he does some great work as well.

    Keep the music coming!

    All the best,

    Payam.

Ps. Sorry I left this long message in your comments, I couldn’t find your email on the site.

Thank you Payam for the very kind words. Best of luck in design school.

I used to laugh when my parents said this to me, “The best years of your life” but looking back on it now, 14 years later, how true they were . Love your photography by the way.

    cheers
    Tony

    Hey Tony,

I don’t tend to write on message boards like these, and I’m not even that much into deep house music, but your Strings of Strife mix makes me go crazy over and over again. Even your Sunday Snooze series has appealed to many of my friends already whenever they’re riding along in my car.

    Thanks a lot,

    Carl

Sending more love from Toronto. Loving everything you put out. Especially Strings of Strife. At a time when House music is in dire need of human influence and soul, you rescue our ears from the tyranny of the mediocre. Cheers.

Actually, it just came to me…I am a member of a community forum for lovers of House music, stationed out of Toronto, Canada, called houseaddict.com. Actually, so is Anas, who Payam Rajabi refers to in the first post on this page. We all have a lot of love for what you do, and as such, it would be great if we could do a Q&A Interview with you that we could post on our site. We would appreciate it. Check out the site and let me know. Cheers.
